A car needs to be strong to keep the passengers safe. But it also needs to be as lightweight as possible to increase fuel efficiency and the less metal used in building the car, the cheaper it can be. There are places on a car where one part needs to be thick and strong while the other could be thinner. But they have to work as one piece. Enter TWB Company, LLC which laser-welds parts for cars. The laser heats the edges of the metal so hot that when they are connected, they become one piece of continuous metal. TWB makes these parts, or blanks, for a variety of manufacturers and uses on cars.
